In August 2023, archaeologists and volunteers excavating on the Isle of Arran, uncovered what is almost certainly the only complete Neolithic cursus monument found on the Scottish island.
And this monument is not a small ancient feature in the landscape, its 1.1 km long, a vast rectangular enclosure dating back to between 3,000 and 4,000 BC. It is absolutely enormous!
