On July 1st 1991 actor, producer and director Michael Landon passed away at his Malibu home just three months after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
In April 1991 when Michael announced to the world that he had pancreatic cancer Hollywood was stunned. The average age for developing the disease is 71. Michael was just 54.
