Spider-Man has been appearing in movies since way back in the 1970s!
Super-strength and durability. Super-speed, agility and reflexes. Wall-crawling abilities. Web-slinging. The Spider-Sense. And a catalogue of witty one-liners - it's really not difficult to understand why Spider-Man is such a popular character.
The Webbed Wonder is by far Marvel's most recognisable superhero - and there's probably only Batman and Superman from DC who can claim to be anywhere near as iconic as him - so it should come as no surprise that he's appeared in well over a dozen movies on the big screen over the years.
He's been portrayed by some great actors as well - including Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and, most recently, Tom Holland - and the future's looking very bright for him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well (in spite of the fact that he's currently dead!).
