Three months ago I published a video about a mysterious staircase in the Egyptian desert, close to the pyramid of Abu Rawash.
In the video, I concluded that I could not find anything more about the site and made a call for any further information.
Well, somebody who wishes to remain nameless, answered that call and actually went further than I imagined and in this video I hope to finally get to the bottom of the mystery, with exclusive new footage from inside the stairwell.
Using the location I discovered on Google Maps, they actually visited the site, which is apparently in a restricted military zone, and filmed it, and they have given me the footage to show the Ancient Architects viewers, something I am extremely thankful for.
So what exactly are we looking at? Is it the entrance to an early dynastic burial chamber, a new serapeum or is it in fact a Roman Well?
Watch the video to learn more.
